This website was created for the use of my students. On this website I will be posting syllabi for all of my classes, lecture notes, class notes, project assignments, essay assignments, and homework assignments. Additionally, I will be using this site as a method to post directly to my students' parents. You can come here for news and updates about my classes, scheduling (tests, due dates, etc), and general information.
You will notice several pages within this website. There are individual pages for each of the content areas that I currently teach as well as a message board that students are required to post to. Remember, I do require students to post to the internet, however, this does not mean that I will schedule class time to do this. Students have access to the computer lab at school before school, during lunch, and after school and are expected to use it. All students will need their school ID cards in order to use the labs.
I will not post individual student grades on this website. From time to time, however, I will post graphs and charts demonstrating an entire class' progress or grades (a bar chart for example showing the total number of A's, B's, C's, D's, and F's).
UPDATE: While I will not post individual student grades on this website, the Albuquerque Public Schools have begun to use iParent. iParent is a secure online program that allows parents to check on their child's grades and attendance. You can access iParent by clicking on this link. You will be required to know your child's student identification number and other pertinant information.
